Information on remuneration and benefits in insurance mediation
As part of our mediation services, we provide advice in accordance with the statutory requirements and receive commission from the product provider when an insurance contract is successfully arranged. The customer does not pay this commission to us separately; it is already included in the insurance premium.
If a different arrangement is requested or required by the circumstances, our services will be remunerated by a fee or expense allowance, either entirely or in combination with the commission described above. The amount of the fee is agreed in writing in advance between the customer and the adviser.
We do not receive any other remuneration in connection with our advisory and mediation services.
Sustainability-related disclosure for the distribution of insurance-based investment products
We pursue an independent sustainability strategy. When selecting insurance companies and insurance products, we take into account the information provided by insurers. Depending on the customer’s wishes, insurers that clearly do not pursue a strategy for integrating sustainability risks into their investment decisions may be excluded from our recommendations. As part of the individual advice provided in the customer’s interest, we explain separately where the consideration of sustainability risks in an investment decision entails an identifiable advantage or disadvantage for the individual customer.
The relevant insurer provides information on how sustainability risks are considered in its investment decisions in its pre-contractual information. Customers are welcome to contact us with any questions before entering into a contract.
In our advisory services, the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors at financial market participants (insurers) are taken into account on the basis of the information made available by the insurance companies. We are not responsible for the accuracy of this information. At present, these impacts can only be considered to a limited extent because the information supplied by insurers is still developing and may remain incomplete. At the customer’s specific request, sustainability factors may be considered on the basis of the data currently available.
